The Story behind GardenIQ

It all started in 1978 with a little mixture of 13 enzymes now known as Nitron A-35. Frank Finger, who managed 480 acres of milo and alfalfa, was hesitant to use chemical fertilizers. When he discovered an all-natural soil conditioner that worked wonders for his crops, Nitron was in business! Seeking green trees and hills not found in western Kansas, he moved to northwest Arkansas. His passion for organic gardening and farming is still going strong after 25 years! Making organic gardening products available everywhere, GardenIQ is the online organic garden superstore for Nitron Industries.

Located just outside Fayetteville, Arkansas, Nitron Industries is a small-town business with a nation-wide influence! Our Staff:

• Frank Finger, owner/president. Frank founded Nitron Industries in 1978. He grows 6 organic veggie beds, and one organic rose bed. He does a local weekly call-in radio show on organic gardening. Frank’s secret to growing tomatoes is, “If you do one thing for your tomatoes this year, make sure to use Tomato Booster.”
• Roger Carter, shipping/warehouse. Roger has been here for 2 years, and loves growing organic vegetables. His favorite product is Nitron A-35, which he uses to bring his Elephant Ear plant back to life after a harsh frost! Roger has a wealth of information about all of the products at GardenIQ.
• Marsha King, orders/customer service. Marsha has been with Nitron since 1987, and is the expert on houseplants! Marsha uses Indoor Magic and her houseplants love it! Her favorite plant is the night blooming Cereus, because of its chaotic looks, and gorgeous blooms.
• Vickie Holland, customer service. Vicki joined the company in the spring of 2006 and grows organic vegetables and houseplants. Vickie’s favorite product is the liquid fertilizer Sea Grow Plus.
